Research about photography
Line of inquiry: Benefits of photography
Question: What are the purposes of photography?
The Research:
Photography is the art of honoring the beauty of a picture. There are many purposes of photography but here are four main purposes of photography:
People mainly take pictures for memory, so that they can remember what they have done in their lives. Sometimes it is good to print pictures because nowadays digital gadgets can delete your pictures permanently. If you like to collect pictures, you, must own a photo album.
Photography can become someone’s hobby very easily. The easiest way is by using a person. If the person takes many pictures, that person’s hobby can become photography. There are many ways for photography to become someone’s hobby but that was the easiest way.
Through pictures we can express emotions too. We can also get messages from pictures. Sometimes pictures can change someone’s mind. We sometimes judge a book by its cover. What I mean is that we sometimes judge it’s photograph by the way it looks. Many people just look at a photograph and say that it is not a good looking picture while the others say that it is a good looking picture. This happens because everyone is different. We all have our own likes and dislikes. It can also be very hard to get a perfect picture because you need the perfect color, lighting, focus and more.
Nowadays many people like to share their pictures on social media. Like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and much more. This is another purpose of photography to share your pictures with other people online.
In this generation photography is so advanced than to the previous generations. Who knows what photography would be like in the future generation. I bet it would be amazing and way more advance, easier and more enjoyable.

Ainsley's Research:
Q1: How Has Photography Changed Over Time?
The history of photography started from the earliest photo. This photo was taken by French inventor Joseph Niepce in 1826/1827. The earliest camera was the camera obscura it was made during the 13th-14th century. The first official camera was invented in 1814. The camera was used to take black and white pictures. And then the introduction of color was in 1861. Soon after there was the disposable camera, most of them were waterproof, allowing scuba divers and snorkellers to take pictures in water. On January 1,1991 the first digital camera was made. 6 years later the camera phone was invented. After more than 10 years,as we all know the I-Phones and I-Pads can take pictures.
Q2: How Has Photography Changed Our Lives?
After photography became popular it soon became a part of our daily life. It has also become one of the most popular hobbies on Earth. Photography has also awed many people of the reality of our world giving them a chance to know more about the world around us. Photography is also used for many different purposes throughout our lives such as commercials, newspapers, magazines, pamphlets, and a lot more. Nowadays, photography is considered as a very useful tool for all of us who are living on Earth. It is also a very easy way to communicate to people who come from a different country or place.
Q3: What Will Happen If There Is No Photography?
In my opinion, if there was no photography in this world I think that we would not even exist or socialize with each other. If photography isn’t existing right now we would definitely lose a very easy and important way of how we socialize with each other. We will also risk losing a way of expression. We actually also lose a way of memory of family, friends, or experience.
